I bought a pair of LED error free canbus type bulbs for my rear indicators to replace the previous LED (single led) ones which needed a separate resistor. The new bulbs don’t even light up when in the bulb holder (they work across a battery) and are the same polarity as the bulbs I took out (live to centre contact on bulb).
Any suggestions please? Thank you in advance.

Tony.

This is reminiscent of when I tried to fit LEDs for rear number plate lights and interior light on the Coupe a few years back. Couldn't get them to work at all but again I could get them to work across battery. I got then off a lad on M3Cutters Forum who gave me full refund. I'll be interested to see what the feedback is on this problem.

I could try them in the oil burner Steve, but only in the front as the rears are all LED. On the Z4, when the rear indicator doesn't work it flashes the stop light, but what confuses me is that the previous LED bulbs worked ok with an in-line resistor.
