A 3 series touring was recovered to work this week, the story was it had hit a kerb or island at 80mph on a motorway after someone pulled out in front of them. Both O/S wheels were totalled along with the tyres.

The rear wheel.

The front wheel, look closely at the inside. It was almost broken into two pieces.

Added to this the front strut top has been pushed upwards by a fair amount. A 60 plate car. Two wheels and tyres £800 + chassis repair my guess it's a write off.

How dare anyone pull out in front of a Bmw, didn't they know we own the road?

Takes some to hit both wheels on the inside of the rim without destroying the outside too? I uspect the owner is being economical with the facts. Lucky not to have rolled the car launching that much energy through one side.
