Is anyone interested in another Kent Cruise? I haven't had the time to sort out a different route so it will be the same route as in the past. Starting point is BP fuel station at Blue Boys TN12 7HE.

We meet at 9am departing 9.30 and head to Dungeness for tea/coffee and hopefully we will be able to see the Romney Hythe & Dymchurch train. For those who need to burn off energy, there is a lighthouse to climb up if open.

We then head off to the lunch venue Crown Point Inn TN15 0HB with a stop on the way at Headcorn Aerodrome time permitting. It is estimated getting to Crown Point Inn at 1.30.

This is a link to the route. https://maps.google.com/maps/ms?msi...848,0.647507&spn=0.234413,0.676346&dg=feature

Estimated miles about 105.

Please post below if interested and indicate if you require lunch.

I think this will be the fourth year you will have run a Kent cruise isn't it Ron?

The two I've made have been excellent, and you always seem to get great weather. Not sure if I can make it but will certainly try!

I think your right Gary about it being the 4th Kent cruise, although I think I did a Kent/Sussex cruise in my Atlanta Blue days of Zed ownership.

The cruise is a bit later this year so hoping to get that great weather you were referring too. :)
It would be good to see you on the cruise again Gary but I realise it's a bit of a trek for you.

Looking forward to blowing away the cobwebs Ron & Gail, always a great cruise, Dave & Sue. :coolsteer)

Sorry Ron, can't make this one.
Some of us still have to work you know o_O

Probably just as well Terry after the weather you brought with you last time! ;)
Noooo!
It was fine until we crossed the Thames
Then some Jets Tream fella whipped in a quick westerly from our flank.
Mind you - the wet on the inside and the company made it worth while ;)

The weather forecast for Sunday doesn't look good and we wanted this cruise to be a top down drive. We will make a decision on Friday evening to go ahead or cancel the cruise. Hopefully the forecasters are wrong and we can go ahead with the cruise.

If its cancelled this Sunday it will be run the following Sunday.

Watch this thread for updates.

Sunday's weather looks better than it did a few days ago, it should be mostly bright with a possibility of an odd shower.
So in view of the improved weather forecast the Kent Cruise will go ahead unless the forecast changes drastically.
