I feel for you pal. when Carrie had her 125 I was so nervous everytime I new she was out on it, I have ridden bikes and know that so many car drivers ignore them

Cheers Sean, I couldn't stop him getting one as I had motorbikes from the age of 14 up until 5 years ago.
I was hoping he wouldn't take to it after having a few riding lessons but he loves it.
You're right about car drivers when you're riding a bike, it's like you have an invisibility shield around you.

Yeah, winter's approaching. No nearly so much fun in the wet. There was a kid at work got back into bikes and in the winter by the time he had got his amour on we were half way home.;)

That's one thing I don't miss about biking , faffing about with all the gear. Straps, velcro,laces,zips etc. However I did enjoy taking his little bike for a spin today :whistle:.

Feel for you Steve:eek:. I was not allowed a bike when I was young, my parents helped me buy a mini instead, so I've never been a biker.

Thanks Dave, he arrived home from work last night safely with a big grin on his face.
That was his first outing on his own.
It's good in one respect as you learn a lot of road sense quite quickly on two wheels.
