Just had my AUTO renewal through from Privilege insurance. Last year I paid £210, this year £430!!!!!! I've just rang up and asked why the sudden hike in price, considering I've gained another years no claims bonus it's obvious their trying their luck thinking people won't bother looking at new premiums. They wouldn't drop the new premium price so I told them to cancel the policy and send out my proof of no claims.
I then dropped on the tinterweb and went on confused.com and got a quote from esure who by chance I also have my Saab with of £178 Inc glass cover and protected no claims. Deal done! So the moral of the story is.........keep an eye on the robbing b******!!!

I found the same my renewal on ny old car a 1.6 focus on a 52 plate was £538 from £325 !! Yet the 2.8 came in at £211 same cover its definatly worth a shop around i carn't see the sense in it mad pricing!!
