Hi
Can any one tell me if it is worth changing the inlet manifold, on my 2.8 single vanos engine for a m50 manifold. I hear it increases the air flow, but dose increase your fuel consumption.
Also how can I tell if it has already been done by a previous owner. If I post some pics can someone help.

Thanks Simon:thumbsup:

A great conversion and makes a big difference to the over all driveability .Does it use more fuel?.. ..depends on how much you enjoy the gains :)

How easy is it to fit? Feel like treating the Zed now it has been a good BMW and passed the MOT.
Also is there any where that supplies a complete bolt on kit?

Connor.

Ian / alpina527@aol.com is the best source IMO he machines everything required, to ensure the fuel rail is positioned correctly and a throttle body plate (no B&Q pipes involved) £410 for the manifold, bored throttle body and asc unit.
