Indicator self cancelling fail

Not sure if this is the right place to post this: newbie. Anyway. Left indicator failed to self cancel on recent drive out. Any fixes. Is this a common problem and is it expensive to sort. Any advice, repairs info much appreciated. No more late night gambolling around the local Somerset levels if I cannot get it sorted. Ta

Not sure if the cancelling cam is part of the steering wheel or the column. @spurs fan in a coupe , @Synclare or @mrscalex probably will though.

Thanks Tony. Been looking on line. Appears to be another ‘common problem’. Thanks for the pointers to other sites. Bristol City supporter.
