ZRoadster.org accepts no responsibility or liability for goods or services purchased as part of an agreement between members of, or goods or services purchased from other sites advertised on, ZRoadster.org

Any purchases are made at the buyers own risk, and it is the sole responsibility of the party offering items for sale that they are of merchantable quality and fairly described.

ZRoadster.org cannot and will not enter into any discussion arising from dispute over any items bought or sold on ZRoadster.org

Use common sense when agreeing to purchase, and when paying for items!

Rules: (Any advertisement not adhering to these guidelines may be removed).
  1. You can only post a For Sale advert once you have been a member for 3 days, and made 5 (quality) posts elsewhere on the forum. This is entirely to stop people signing up and making a for sale post as their one and only visit to the site.
  2. Ensure your thread title is suitably descriptive of your item (i.e. "For Sale" or "Wanted" is not an adequate title)
  3. Ensure your For Sale thread includes a price, your location, and carriage costs if applicable. If you do not include all of these your advertisement is liable to confuse and frustrate potential purchasers.
  4. Include photos of your item as it will help you sell it quicker.
  5. Ensure your description is adequate, and you accurately describe the item condition.
  6. Adverts reaching 6 weeks old with no update will be archived in the For Sale Archive section. It should be considered that these adverts are no longer valid or have sold. This is purely to keep the section manageable and easier for people to see who has sold what.
  7. Feel free to "bump" your thread occasionally, but not every day!
  8. You need to be registered as a 3rd Party Trader if you are selling for profit (as opposed to clearing out your garage or selling parts occasionally). This would include breaking Zeds for parts, or buying parts elsewhere and reselling them here. This is entirely for the benefit of any prospective buyer for knowing who/what they are dealing with. Requests via PM to GazHyde for consideration. For sale posts which appear to be undisclosed traders will likely be moderated.
  9. If posting up links to eBay, Gumtree or other adverts it must be made clear if you have any link to the advert. Absolutely no problem posting links to your own adverts, just make it clear for prospective buyers. Posts like this will likely be moderated.
  10. Adverts must not encourage buyers to break the terms and conditions of any payment transaction service, or the terms and conditions of any business. For example, using PayPal Friends and Family payments to avoid fees. Sellers publicly breaking this rule will have their adverts removed, and may have their selling rights removed from the forum.

Couple of things to cover... First a reminder that there are rules for the "For Sale" section of the forum which are contained in the first post of this thread. Worthwhile making yourself aware of them, or refreshing your memory! I've been getting more requests of late for removal of off topic posts for example.

Secondly I've had a few comments made to me recently regarding people being upfront when trading on here, which I feel I have addressed with the addition of 2 new rules (#8 & #9). These are to increase buyer confidence by ensuring that anyone who is trading for profit on here has requested and been accepted to do so. I've found that most people are upfront and contact me directly beforehand anyway, so this is just cementing that concept formally.

I've tagged both our resident Zed breakers as "3rd Party Traders" now, so they display a badge on their profile. All I ask is that anyone who is buying/selling/trading Zed items for profit requests to do so formally. This in no way affects normal member adverts.

Finally at some stage I need to run a quick archive on the old adverts over 6 weeks old.

Rule 10 added:

Adverts must not encourage buyers to break the terms and conditions of any payment transaction service, or the terms and conditions of any business. For example, using PayPal Friends and Family payments to avoid fees. Sellers publicly breaking this rule will have their adverts removed, and may have their selling rights removed from the forum.
