Imola Z4M "Motorway Cops"

Don't get it. What is going on......?......
There was a police marker on this Z4, and it was spotted parking in a motorway service station. The police were dispatched and stopped the guy just as he was leaving.
He's a trader and he just bought if from a BCA auction 2 hours earlier, but it had been used in a large performance car scam along with about 70 other cars. Suffice it to say the Z4 was confiscated and he had to get back in touch with the auction company to see what he could do get his £15k back.
I saw that episode must have been over 12 months ago now, the guy must have been gutted but then again if you are a trader you have to expect you are going to get your fingers burned now and then.

Makes you wonder why the auction houses are not alerted as well.
If the trader had put it in a covered trailer the boys in blue would be none the wiser and the car could have just disappeared.
