The reserve will likely be around the private sale or forecourt price, it won't be low that's for sure. Seen this tactic many times before from people who expect some kind of bidding war to break out. Rarely happens.

EDIT: as it's just reached 20k, I wouldn't be surprised if it's shill bidding getting it there. As the phrase goes, if it looks dodgy...

looks a posh garage but why bids as they are a pricey car ? , but never understood the appeal of these just don't like the looks , I know they are rare but . .. sorry if anyone has one

@ljauto I more or less agree, why pay £20-30k or more for a Z3 Coupe when you can get a Z4 Coupe for half the money.

They are nice cars but I prefer the Z4 Coupe
