I have made 4 calls today and have spoken with 3 different people who all said the same thing "someone will call you back"
Well after 4 calls starting from this morning still no call back
To make it worse no one knows a TIM? @Tim@Prestige

As long as your previous employer is competitive I stick with them Stacey. But thanks for the heads up.

Tony.

That's a bit worrying isn't it, when no one knows this Tim at Prestige?

Tony.

Doesn't sound too good .
Got my zed insurance to renew fairly soon, presently with Manning UK, think I'll stay with them as they're easy to deal with.

Last month I sent pm's to Tim@Prestige and CKI with details of a car (318i M sport) I wanted to insure.
"Tim" came back to me asking for mobile number incase they needed more details - number sent and acknowledged never heard anything else from him.
Chris Knott responded immediately, very good communication and competitive price so insured through them. I do have a garage but that belongs to the Zed so new car is parked on drive - no problems with CKI. Will probably insure Zed through them at next renewal.

Chris Knotts have had my business plenty of times in the past, very easy to deal with and excellent prices, always ready to negotiate if theres any to be had. Marcus there a great along with the rest of the team.

Unfortunately they aren't able to cover this mota atm, unless I pay ridiculous figure, and they advised me of this. I will be returning to them but will take 2 -3 years though.

Theres plenty of others to try - plus you can shop around ;) Surely nobody pays their renewal price or the first figure quoted :wideyed::whistle:

I went with APlan for my Zed. Quick and efficient and most importantly understood and supported my plans for the future (changing the body style to a Kobra kit).

Other insurers were not interested with a good deal when I said I will be modifying.

I have a very, very well priced multi-car policy from Footman James.

They were very cheap on single car but then prices went up this year. But I have 5 cars on one policy for less than my new 3GT.

They did quote for our cars , and did say they could not be competitive due to us being over 70. Stayed with nfu in the end .

I use Classicline Insurance. If a track day is run by an MSA approved organisation they will extend the cover to include it. Each track day details have to be submitted and they are individually approved which if you did a lot would be a bit of a faff. There is also UK and Europe breakdiwn cover and I have an agreed valuation which cost an extra £20 and is valid for 2 years.
It works for my needs and is a good price for what you get.
