Haven't heard today but yesterday he figured if he was stabilized he could go home. Hope that's what's happening! JIM

Oh bless you all! I'm came back home yesterday afternoon. I am stabilised for now. After having an mri scan on Wednesday it's shown I am full of gallstones of which I passed one through on Tuesday which caused me to have to go back into hospital. I'm due to have a minor op in about two weeks time to remove the stones and then another op in about four weeks time to remove the gallbladder.
Unfortunately working for such a fantastic company I am having to return to work until my first op as they are refusing point blank to pay me any sick pay and statutory pay instead worth claiming. Frankly this scares the bloody life out of me as I work all over the UK and if I pass another stone while I'm wherever it could be extremely uncomfortable and may struggle to get home but this is the quality of idiots we now have to work for. As much as I enjoy my job and have always been happy here I will be looking to move on when everything is sorted out in a few weeks time. Any offers gratefully accepted! :D. Jue has been absolutely brilliant running around keepin the day to day stuff running normally and looks shattered. We're really looking forward to the holiday which is about 8 weeks away. We have decided begrudgingly to leave the Zed at home and go to France in the saab. There are a couple of reasons for this. One, the saving in fuel with the saab being a diesel, and as I've already lost nearly 3 weeks pay the £200-250 saving makes a big difference and the comfort aspect as well has become a factor. The trip with days out is going to be around 1600 miles so thought it would be wise to take the saab as driving after a few hours in the Zed does get a bit uncomfortable.
Thanks all for your concern it really shows I have some genuine friends here and look forward to seeing some of you soon.

Cheers
Dave :beer:mad::)

Great to hear you're back home Dave. Let's hope you can keep all your stones inside you until your op. :happy:

Thanks Moz. There saying they can't take the gallbladder out yet as it's a mess and the infection has to calm down before they can remove it. Taking it out while it's in this condition has risks that there not willing to take. Believe me i've asked! There taking the stones first as I've another stuck in the bile duct which can have complications if not treated quickly and it gives me some time while the infectIon settles down further. :):mad:
