Hi Everyone,
I know this is my first post and I'll probably get flamed for the topic as I'm taking a lot more that I'm contributing but hopefully someone will be able to help me out.
My Dad has a Z3M Roadster but he's just had some knee surgery and he's talking about selling it on for something automatic.
He's asked me to put it on the net for sale but I'd like to try and learn a little bit about the actual car and what people are looking for so I'm actually prepared for any questions.
I've driven the car a few time, including a huge drive through France so I know it drives and handles well. From my research on the forum it looks like there are a few things that I need to check and photograph when I visit the old man this weekend to sort out the advert.
I know it's an S50 Engine being a 1998/99 and he had the Vanos unit replaced recently but there doesn't seem to be much else I need to make people aware of about the engine right?Other than the standard service history stuff?
I know I also need to check and photography the boot floor for cracks around the edges to make sure it hasn't twisted.
Other than those two specialist bits (and the obvious leaking hoods/milky windows that convertibles get) is there anything specific I should be checking for that buyers will want to know about a roadster or anything I should look for that will make it more saleable?
I've attached a pic in case anyone spots anything I should be mentioning
Any help appreciated
Cheers
Rob
