Hi all,
First the good news,my zed went straight through M O T
No advisories just comments on how good condition she was in:thumbsup:
But couldn't help but notice how many miles I haven't done this last year!!!
1700 miles is all I have done!!! Just about exactly the same as the previous
Year.thought I had done a lot more than that but cannot argue with the mileage,
The question is,Am I the norm ?? Or does everybody do a lot more?.
I know a few people do a lot less but I bought the car to drive as well as love!!
How many have you done???
Cheers Brian

Just clocked 70000 in mine, not bad for a 15 year old car;)
At this rate it will be about twenty year before I hit 6 figures=))

We have done around 14k in the last 2 years but 4k was when we went to Europe in it in 2013. So i would say we are doing around 5k a year

Looks like I should get out more!
Definitely Brian, I did just over 5,000 in 2013 and 6,800 last year, you've got a lot of catching up to do;)

But now your mileage will be halved will it not
Yes, I think the mileage will halve on the 3 but the overall mileage will be the same but split across the 3 and the 4;)

I bought my Zed in 2008 with 21,000 miles on the clock. She has now done 96,000 but in the last year ( since I retired) only 5,000. I have an E46 compact as a workhorse now but cannot resist getting the Zed out often.:)

Just as it should be.:) The thing I love the most is when you leave work at the end of the day, not too happy, most days. You sit in the car, drop the sun visors, unlatch the soft top, put your foot on the brake and press the switch. Then, the smile starts, as the top folds down the smile spreads across your mush, and you pull out into the traffic and watch the poor people who don't have a convertible and you feel sorry for them. NOT !!

Tony.
