Will do, I've got to get in shape again!
Me too, I go walking every week but I can't believe how tired I am afterwards. I did own a cross trainer but had nowhere to keep it so sold it in the end. Looks like you have a spare room to house your gym so go for it

I was walking between 6 and 10 miles a day in the summer - Helped me lose over a stone in a couple of months. Am struggling to do much more than two miles per day during the winter months.

yep, I've set one up to get and stay fit.

Good for you mate:thumbsup:

Don't go out on the road any more so I've got my bike rigged up to a Turbo Trainer. Do a 20 minute "power ride" in the morning and a 45 minute progressive ride at night on Mon, Wed and Fri and a 1hr steady ride on one weeked day. My daughter uses my XTRAINER for 40 minutes every morning before school :wideyed: WTF! Strange child ;)

As an aside, I think my curtains are s***e:mad:

Yer gym porn!!!!!!!
Good on you all for setting up home gyms.
Couple of pics of my son's gym I built for him to train in... Bike sponsored by Spirit bikes in Aylesbury, small plug for a great shop who support local athletes.
My son is a triathlete in the British Elite series, coming back from major knee surgery to compete in the under 23 series this year (Hes 19 now)
Now he's at uni I suppose it's about time I get my fat arse in there and use it....

I'm away from home so can't show any pics but we've got a "kind" of gym at home. It's housed in a lean to I've built on the back of our house. No home comforts, I'm afraid, it's very Rocky Balboa style, open on 2 sides to the elements. If you're cold, you just have to work harder or move a little quicker.

I've got an 80lb heavy punch bag and a good selection of proper weights. I've got a couple of 50kg plates that I keep on a bar specifically for dead lifts and I suppose I have around 400kgs all together, a couple of Olympic benches, a squat rack and a pull up bar.

I used to do a bit of tournament karate (Shotokan) in my youth and still have the scars to prove it.

My youngest son uses it all now. I haven't picked a weight up for over 2yrs now.
