Bella needed the Front Control Arm bushes changing so in she went for surgery. Some clown in her previous life had only welded one of the bolt heads in place which snapped when trying to undo :arghh: Fair play though, drilled out and all made good with new thread put in place taking about 4 hours and only got charged £90 at BMW! As an aside, post respray the chap told me that the rear bumper was a bugger to put back on as she'd had a rear end ding at some point, no obvious sign in the boot though.

Mate, I am having a right game getting my rear bumper in place, I have broken 4 new clips now, I think I will make my own fitting kit

Them bumper clips are crap, I refitted mine with a couple of nuts and bolts with some washers as spacers in between.

Those clips are a job to fit, when i took my rear wing off for respray, I couldnt get it back on with the old clips and intended to bolt it but then thought, one reason for plastic clips will be that in the event of a minor bump, they will give and avoid more serious damage. I then fitted it with plastic number plate bolts.
When I later took it off for a respray, I bought new clips and it went on OK.
