Doesn't look like it's had a nice life! Think the price needs to be lower than 6k what was the leather like?

It amazes me how people expect to sell a car in such poor condition, definatly not worth £6k when I paid less than that and mine is mint in comparison.

Has she done 6000 miles on worn tyres or have they been changed?

What has serial 011 got to do with an MOT? The damaged sidelight may have sharp edges, but cosmetic damage is irrelevant.

Wheel refurb = £200
New rubber = £500
Paint damaged areas = £200
Discs = £250
Pads+Shoes = £130
Brake Pipes = £30

At least £1300 to spend on the problems you know about. A project for someone, perhaps.

The handbrake shoes are inside the rear disc. If you are changing the rear discs you should change the rear pads and shoes.

I'd take it on for £3.5k, but I already have a project on axle stands on the driveway :coolsteer) .

I am ashamed to say that I find in Devon the expectations of the locals far exceed the expectations of anyone with any common sense they want paying to do shoddy work, and believe that they are doing the world a favour by selling them their leftover inferior castoffs.

And I B************* live there! ~x( Makes me ashamed to admit it!
