thanks!

some small things i need to fix..

1. electric hood is not connected, apparantly i need a small thing 'from maplins' that will sort it..
2. how do i stop the drivers seat from moving when accelerating and braking
3. what are the best brake options (for track use)

if you could point me in the right direction(s) that would be much appreciated!

Welcome! I know which Angela you mean and I've discussed the first 2 issues with her quite a few times....

Issue 1 hood micro switch - https://zroadster.org/articles/bmw-z3-hood-micro-switch-replacement.52/

Issue 2 seat bushes - https://zroadster.org/pages/BMW-Z3-Z3M-Seat-bushes-for-Roadster-Coupe/

Question 3 - I've been using MTech grooved disks with EBC yellow stuff pads on my Z4 for a while, although not on track! Huge improvement over standard quality stuff.

awesome, yes, she mentioned you :)

got the bushes in the car, just need to fit them, will have a look at the switch!

thanks for the brakes advice too!

Hi, and welcome from me too, near Lincoln. I have some MTec drilled and grooved discs for my Z4 and EBC pads which I was hoping to get fitted this weekend. Have been ill for nearly 2 weeks so may not happen, will post some pictures when I get it done. I recently replaced the brake hoses with some stainless steel braided ones, which was a good improvement before fitting the discs and pads.

Tony.
