I just thought I would score this one for @Nutty_Hazel !

She has had awful problems with her hands free kit in the open top car…So as I was looking as I need hands free for Black or I am going to get nicked! Anyway we saw in Halfords a Pioneer unit ( MVH-350BT ) that has no CD but works with iPhone and Android both wired direct and by bluetooth that uses the music in the phone and also has the Parrot hands free chip built in! it was on offer at £100 off so was selling at £59.99 when you consider that the cheapest parrot is £80 this looked like a bargain! we duly bought 2 one for her and one for me!

Fitted them and they work brilliant really good even with the hood down!

Then she says about selling her old one and does so for £15 so her upgrade to hands free and latest(ish) radio has in the end cost her £44.99 that is just over ½ the price of the cheapest Parrot hands free kit!

And it looks good in the slot as well with colour of the lights fitting with the dash lights!

If anyone is thinking and can get the unit at their local Halfords I would grab a bargain!

Sounds good Duncan do you have any pics of it in the car. I have an expensive Alpine unit in mine and everybody complains that the phone is crap when I speak to them. Where have you mounted the microphone as I have mine just behind the steering wheel which seems a logical place but obviously not that good.

I will take a picture of it in the morning and post it ASAP

The mic's are fitted behind the steering wheel tucked down almost out of site I will take pics of that too.

I have an alpine in Blue and it does have a CD and with my old iPhone 3GS it was perfect but with the iPhone 5 it is not so good so I am hoping that is a firmware upgrade for the unit but not had time to look into it.

for the money I just can't believe the value of the latest unit, I know it is on special offer but really good value, I think. Especially for @Nutty_Hazel having sold her old unit as well. LOL

I hope these help if you want any others let me know. I took four others but it makes no sense to repeat them just to show the USB slot open, or the microphone from another angle.

On of the key points is the Bluetooth with Audio streaming it means if the phone is in your pocket and you choose BT Audio it plays from your paired device. you can connect it with the IUSB as well and it charges at least iPhone 4 and 5 because we have that also it works with (I think it is HTC) devices that will not support Audio out of the phone to USB but will do Bluetooth Audio. I think these are mainly Andriod devices. BE aware though that the Andriod version has to be 2.4 (I know so little about Andriod that later may be OK but I do not know that) so check if you have one of these devices.

I have the CD version in my Galaxy, have to say the BT Phone is pretty good, but depends which phone you hook up to it, my Iphone 4S is good, but my works Blackberry is terrible.

And i love the Media Streaming, I have my Ipad hooked up to it and it is like a mobile juke box!

Good buy if you can still get it
