Hi All, anyone fancy a small cruise / pub meet open to suggestions Winchester / Basingstoke area's
weekend? your thoughts please

I've been thinking about posting something up along these lines for a couple of weeks, but got caught up in other things. Seems to be quite a few members in this area now, and now the UK head quarters of Zorg are based in Newbury it would seem ideal for me

Can't think off the top of my head who else to press gang in. Once we have a date/venue in mind I'll try and whip up more interest.

Venues to meet: Blackbushe Airport, American diner on the A339, Winchester M3 services.

drive out and lunch ?

Odiham the other side of the M3 is a good meeting place and then go south on the roads around there.

We would've have come down for this & made a weekend of it, but we'll still be on hols in France - have a great meet everybody.

I can't see anything in the Forthcoming Event section, so lets provisionally say Sunday 31st of August

CJ had a look on Google-maps and Odiham looks OK do you know the place and if so what's the best place to meet?

There is a big layby just off the motorway there (M3 towards Odiham) - and there is a pub just off that roundabout as well. There is always a bike meet on that stretch every 3rd wednesday in the month. If not there is a big pub carpark in the town.
I guess its where people are coming from ---- would like to make it central for everyone. Odiham may not be the most central

Bugger... 7th September is best day at national motor museum international motor jumble... The 1000 plus boot sellers.. Already booked.. If the date changes might be joining you .. As it is both the Saturdays are booked.. Getting busy

Guys so sorry after starting this off I can't make it somebody has brought my wife a birthday treat for that weekend a trip to London with theatre ticket's her birthday was last week and have only just realised that it clashes needless to say she needs to be obeyed you can go ahead with the meet if you like, if not can someone suggest another date once again sorry for this or postpone it to later in the year?
