I always liked the look of these and wondered if anyone had ever seen one in the flesh?

I prefer the look to the oem from the pic. Never got around to getting one as the roof is down 99% of the time but like the look ;)

I noticed that autovogue still have them showing on their site so wondered if they are now made to order. Not asked the question as I'm not looking to buy but you never know in the future :)

Been after the Hamann Hardtop II (pictured above) for about 3 years now. You can get it straight from the Hamann UK supplier (cant remember the company name) for around £1900 with fitting kit. Thats unpainted and without shipping fees. A bit too steep for my liking

That car was owned by a member of the Dutch Z3 forum.

Love it even more now!!

I figured autovogue (the uk dealer) could still get them as they still advertise but agree a lot of money for something you take off most of the time.

If mine was a daily I would have one but I've got an OEM hardtop and its never touched the car since the day I drove it home.

I've kept my eyes peeled for a second hand one for years and never seen one come up apart from a carbon version which Hamann sold themselves for over 3,000euro.

I'll have one one day though :coolsteer)

ps that cars also the reason I had to find a full set of Z3m spec type II racing wheels :-bd

Yes the whole car looks fantastic and agree that if the m was a daily car or you wanted to park it somewhere not so great while out then the extra security of the hard top is nice peace of mind.

As you say one day :) do you know if it fits with the oem hoops ?

Does anyone here knows whether a Hamann hardtop with the humps fits a facelifted Z3 with OEM rollbars?? I suppose that th efitting kit is unique for the Hamann hardtop ?!

I don't think hardtops look good on the Z3 but must admit that looks a lot better :-bd

All OEM hardtops were the same shape regardless of year manufactured so I see no reason why the Hamann hardtop with humps would not fit, IIRC the fitting kit is different from OEM, Hamann made their own version. Have you one lined up?

That hardtop is lovely,
