I have been obliged to look for automotive sustenance by the semi-demise of zroadster.net as have many others. Apart from a day-today vehicle in the form of a boring Mondeo, I have a late model Z3 2.2i Sport in the obligatory titanium silver with hardtop (in winter), and a 2.0 litre Pinto powered Westfield SeiW. I hope you regulars can forgive me for not being on here first instead of the .net site and accept a refugee? :-o T'was a good site anyway... this one looks pretty good too. :)

Mine's a Pinto with Vulcan Maxflow cylinder head, FR32 fast road cam, and a pair of twin-choke 40mm Dellortos. It has a five-speed type 9 gearbox and, unfortunately, an open diff. I guess the power is about 140bhp. As Westfields go it's pretty basic but I've had it since 2003 and it suits me for track days. As it happens I am off to Keevil on Saturday but probably will use the Z3 as I don't fancy trailering the Westfield for two and a half hours on the M4 in the dark coming home. My son has a Z4m Coupé and he'll be thrashing that around Keevil - I won't be able to keep up with that in either car. :-o

Have a look at http://www.wscc.co.uk - it's one of the friendliest forums on the 'net and there is a lot of info to be had.
