We have 3 holiday log houses that Sarah runs as a small business,it keeps her out of mischief as I can't keep an eye on her all the time.We have a Facebook page and last Friday we had 850 likes ,this morning we are at 1730 and it seems to go up every time you refresh the page, it's quite exiting

I agree with Maurice and Tony , but I started to have doubts about my reticence to FB.......maybe it's time to do FB?
It's a part of the life now and several times (and more often in the last time) I can't help my friends because I don't do FB!
I'm confused right now......maybe we are too conservative? I feel good but Is it good from now on?..........

I have a Facebook page,and have very few friends don't friend everyone be selective don't be friends with the rest of your family's friends. It's a nice way to keep up and if you get fed up of someone just hide their posts.But for the business the more exposure we get the better

Re Facebook - basically you control what you put on there, but once you have then there is no control!

I also have resisted FB because I've seen too much crap that people put on. I don't need to know they're having a great salad with accompanying pics for lunch. People sometimes are a bit too quick to put things on FB that they come to regret later so it's a no go for me. Anyone wants to send me info knows my email, my phone # or can find me here. JIM

Re Facebook .the last holiday Sarah and I took on the bike was all organised through Facebook .i would never of found it any other way and it was one of the best ever.With my buddy's we have just organised our trip to Romainia all through the Facebook we create a little group and organise it between us,and we saw the tour through Facebook.I have no problems with it but I don't randomly add people.The amount of spam and pointless emails I receive I only check it a couple of times a week.what problems do you think you can have by using Facebook ?

Agree, none whatsoever if you keep your posts only visible to your friends.
I am only on BMW Z pages and follow F1, MotoGP and a few other motor/sports pages.

Two months ago I was impressed by the power of FB when we realized it changed , for the first time, the result of the elections (in a good way!).
So I will try to educate myself and accept the "safe version". And hope to make the step.It's funny as my two sons, which are all the time in front of the computer, don't do FB!

I only use my iPhone and FB can plug it up pretty quick. That's part of the reason for not using it. I have friends that spend all their waking hours on it and feel that's more than I want to commit too. JIM
