Lovely scenery and great roads; it's a long way for Kent but would love to visit in the Z. Well done with the pictures

You need to take a week off . A day to drive to Glasgow from Kent that would give you 5 days to do a bit of touring there is some absolutely amazing places here you'd love it

Yeah I agree but weeks off are family time and there are more that two in total still at home. In time we will make it back; we have visited Pitlochry and Loch Tummel - stunning in Autumn.

Glencoe pass breathtaking road scenery so big you need to stop and stand just to take it all in . Fort William only about 20 miles from glencoe ben nevis there worth a look.
Here's my top tip make sure you have insect repellant midges ( small biting flys) are brutal in the evening and up north clegg (horse fly) can be like roving vampire packs depends on weather time of year etc but trust me better to be prepared

I know what your saying my youngest is 9 but oldest 22 so the Mrs and I can have the odd day out but like you say a week off would be family time but you should try to get up for a tour about and autumn is particularly colourful but our not too fantastic weather is always hit or miss at that time of year

I just love North West Scotland - my second home given the choice. East coast and the South does nothing for me and I don't really see it as Scottish but the just love the West.

Anyone been over the Belach nah bah to Applecross?

Its a magnificant route although I must say that it has been totally spoiled by the West Coast 500 Publicity and what was once a hidden gem with busy days is now a race track with the fabulous eatery at the Applecross Inn being a virtually in/out affair, such is the turnaround on tables.
Still , I suppose its greedy to kep all the best places seceret .
