Fun On The Beach

I took my Z3 on the beach Monday evening at 20:00: OMG have not had so much fun for years, got her up to 80mph and some drifting at 60mph, what a car she handled superb, did not loose her once drew a crowd of the local boy racers, three decided to try and keep up with me not a chance after 2 laps I had lapped them all, had a round of applause as I left the beach

To many people, they charge £5 to park and have rangers patrolling up and down during the day, but after 19:00 they all go home so it becomes a free for all shades of Top Gear, and Ohhh Yes I will be doing it in the 4 no problems....Get some video next time..

Lee you will enjoy it. These are done at a brisk pace, but only on the areas we know are safe and we can stop at the end for the slower ones to catch up. A couple of years back i was chasing Karls Porker in the Z3 and we both nearly topped 000 number erased due to incrimination

Looks like I'm going to miss out cos of the LtoB, been too eager to get a LtoB plaque. Must look out for the next meet in that area. Not that I'm a REAL DRIVER, still got some of that boy racer image to get rid of, maybe look for that elastic band I spoke about some posts ago( for those that missed it, tie strong elastic band to dangly bits and connect other end to right foot, only known cure for boy racers) never got round to try it cos the band would only be a couple of inches long so would still give me full chat, could sit in the boot though.

Hope this gets past GAZ.

I'm actually quite excited. I've fitted new tyres, given her a service and refurbed the brakes ready for the weekend even had time to fit Gaz some coilovers.
