These guys have been modding a mini for the last 5 years and now decided to fit the wipers and it just proves anything is possible and something of the cleverness of the design engineers of the car manufactures to come up with the components in the first place.

About half way through the series so far. Absolute geniuses and don't they just love their plug welds!

Clever stuff. Reminded me that many years ago I helped a mate re-make his mark 1 Ford Cortina. We were about 18 at the time and he was an apprentice motor fitter. Amongst other things he decided that he wanted electric windows. After doing a bit of research he got hold of 4 Triumph Stag window mechanisms froma local breaker and proceeded to re-make them in a similar manner to the wiper mechanism that these guys did. I was really impressed by his ingenuity and fabrication skills. When the car was finished he was the coolest dude in town with 4 power windows, in a Cortina, in 1976.....
There are some very clever and skillful people around and I take my hat off to all of them.

Just watched the whole series. What skill shown throughout the whole series. There's a massive amount of knowledge in there too.

Going to be another 3 years before they're finished though - engine, gearbox and diff rebuild?
All the electrics too.

Now, so as I don't get bored, anyone want to donate their car for some 'improvements'? :D
