Welcome aboard from Mansfield from another 2.8 owner. Lovely looking zed you got there. I don't recognise the wheels but really suit the car and those ///M gills look superb! Nice beetle by the way.

Thanks folks, got a few little niggles to try and fix so will delve into the technical forum for a read :)

I am in Central Scotland. I noticed the post about the Bridge of Allan car show, I had the car with me although in the car park (only picked it up the night before). It's certainly a cracking show, loads of variety. Looked at the Z3's that were there, very nice.

Lovely Z, looks very familiar, I think it may have belonged to someone on zroadster.net who bought the M side gills from me some years back.

Very nice wheels - they look a very good replica of the Rondell wheels that were fitted as an option on e39 5 series. At least I think they are replicas as I've not seen them with a split rim and fully polished lip like yours.

Nice beetle. I had a 79 Vespa sprayed in a similair colour (Mayan yellow or gold) was a colour from the then new Audi A3.

The wheels have me confused a little. There is a bolt missing from the center where the 2 spokes meet. All the split rims I have looked at have bolts all the way round.

Welcome to the forum @scoobydont - I think that's just about the best username I've heard in ages.. Very nice Z3 but lovely Beetle too - letting such a beauty go must've hurt.

BTW - No idea on the wheels but they add to the look of the car for sure........
