Been there and got the t-shirt. Also the looks from other drivers are pricelessYup, 35 miles to work! Heated seats on 3, and heater on full. Toasty as a slice of toast!
Must be the extra wind in the Z4 cabinI do need a couple of extra woolly hats for the car though as my left ear gets cold!
No, I always got a cold left ear in the Z3 as well. One of lifes great mysteries I guess...Must be the extra wind in the Z4 cabin
Have you stuck something over your right ear. You'd be surprised the difference it makes. Stops all that wind blowing right throughNo, I always got a cold left ear in the Z3 as well. One of lifes great mysteries I guess...
Rather a cold left in than the usual whine I get in mineNo, I always got a cold left ear in the Z3 as well. One of lifes great mysteries I guess...
Driving the other day with the top down, it was cold but I had a wool cap but also a fleece lined windbreaker with a hood that also had the fleece lining. It was perfect!!!! The hood really keeps the wind off you and makes all the difference in the world FrankieDrove the previous Z4 at -3.5 and that was fine roof down. Found when I got down that low in the Z3, the heater couldn't keep up and I couldn't hear the engine over my chattering teeth.

Need a thread on that Cobra! Before Igot my Z3 I had a cobra replica v8 5.7 litre and the engine gave off huge heat. Sadly it had an old mini heater and In winter even with fur lined flying jacket, balaclava, wool hat and gloves it was freezing and I often arrived where I was going numb. Nevertheless always enjoyed it and took at least ten minutes to put the roof on if rained. I have to say I do like the heater, heated seats and electric roof on the z3...must be getting soft in my maturing years.
