Thanks, Doing another shoot with Z4 Events on Facebook on the 16th Feb so trying to get a bit of practice in, just did a shoot tonight with the wife’s GTI but just trial and error, but some mistakes actually turn out ok like getting caught in the headlights...

I might have to start doing something like this. Issue wavey lines just you with an led inspection lamp? What was the camera set up with iso, f and shutter?

the light is a home made light wand, approx 750mm long using a 2m strip of LEDs in 3 banks (full colour changing to get the right effect)

The camera was set with 30 second shutter, iso 100 and varied between f9 and f16. The lenses were a 50mm f1.4 prime and 16mm f4 prime

Tony.

Great photos. Love image 4.
I think the light wand works best with an uncluttered background.
Feel a little more work in photoshop would make some of the images dance and sing.
Do you shoot Raw? That would allow you to bring out far more from the darker areas without too much additional noise.
Guessing it done using a tripod. Try multiple images with different elements on if haven't done so. You can pick and blend the best bits for the respective images
