First drive of a Z3 for my lad

Yeah it’s fantastic. He’s done about 6 sessions previously in his sister’s Citroen C2 but he got the real deal this time.

And he put in loads of time on this car which was the one we did the engine swap and engine bay/front end refurb on last year.

The emphasis is on safe learning at the club. Rather than showboating. But there did seem to be a few high power cars in use, maybe as we are at the end of the season. We saw an Aston Martin DB9, 2 Golf Rs and an M3.

That said the kids get to drive buses and artics to develop their skills and appreciation of other driver’s vehicles so they are meant to end up advanced drivers at 17! In other words an M3 should be taken in their stride!
