Falken 453, the 452 replacement

This tyre seems to be on the horizon. Can't find much detail on it other than it's asymetrical and listed as "Max Performance Summer" and supposedly to replace the 452!

I prefer the look of the tread pattern on the 452's but hopefully these will be just as good or even better than the 452's.

I have just had 2 rear tyres on mine, didn't go for 452's this time as I am trying out the Maxxis MAZ1 Victra's. Slighty cheaper than Falkens and I think they are classed as a budget tyre but they are at the very top end of the budget market. They have a bit more tread on the shoulders of them so with the rear camber on my car there is more tread in contact with the road on the inside as opposed to what the 452's gave me. So far I have only done about 100 miles on them but in both wet and dry conditions and I am very impressed with them. Was a little worried they may give a bit of tram lining but there is non at all

that picture looks almost like a semi-slick road tyre, should make for interesting winter driving.

It doesn't look much different to a Conti Sport 3 in my opinion;

Typical assymetric tread pattern, so may potentially cause less tramlining than the directional 452's. It should be an interesting comparison.
