Well, that was an enjoyable race at Monaco for a change, not the normal caravan of cars all race as we have been used to seeing over the years, except for
Raikkonen holding everyone up, as again, Lotus leave him out on knackered rear tyres. When will these boys learn?
Button had a bad weekend, missed out Q3 and in the race, got stuck behind Kovalainen, got p***** off and then hit the Caterham. End game.

BBC

During the race, Lewis Hamilton complained that someone was dropping things on his head. Here's what he had to say about that instance:

"The guys hold the pit boards over the track and two or three slips fell out and hit me in the front of the helmet. I was like 'guys this is getting ridiculous' as they kept dropping them and dropping them."

Rory Madden on Twitter:‏ "Jake Humphrey falling over a forklift truck on national TV...that'll make the #bbcf1 season highlight reel even in 2012!"

I nearly managed to watch the race live but didn't. After watching the highlights I am glad I didn't, it was a boring procession just what modern F1 should not be. Monaco is all about sponsors and not fans. :(

How many times did they show the front-on close-up of the suspension, so we could see the tyre wall moving?

Suppose it added some interest?

Couldn't agree more. Did anyone actually overtake anyone else in positions that mattered? Give me British Touring Cars any day.
