That's a shocking budget this year. Gone all out with Red Bull & Vettel which took £42m of the £75m budget. So if he doesn't perform I really am screwed.

That said, I was bottom three last year so nothing really to lose :ymblushing:

Full line up - Red Bull, Williams, Caterham & Vettel, Hulkenberg & Di-Resta

Just 2 Weeks to GO GO GO!
And finally Force India confirm their drivers...
Hi Hard Top

Hope you're well and looking forward to the new season - it only seems like yesterday when I watched Sebastian Vettel clinch his 3rd World Championship in Brazil, and yet here we - just 2 weeks until the Melbourne GP weekend.

So what's been going on? Well, Force India have finally announced a second driver to partner dear ol' Di Resta - it's Adrian Sutil (boring choice if you ask us), Jenson Button has been photographed in his pyjamas and Georgie Thompson has left Sky F1.

Speaking of Sky F1 - if you haven't got it already, you may be interested to know that they've got a massive offer on - until midnight tonight where it's pretty much half price for the year. Bargainous. (please don't reply with your anti-Sky rants - this is a genuinely good deal - wish I was a new customer!)

In other just as exciting news, over 1000 Fantasy Grand Prix teams have already registered for the 2013 season - don't miss the boat and get yourself registered now! Go here to learn more.

We've got just 20 tickets left for our Australian Grand Prix Breakfast bash on March 17th, when we are showing the race on a massive cinema screen, complete with loads of great prizes to be won - Get involved!

Over the next few days we'll be bringing you any interesting news from testing, our thoughts on what's going on, as well as some photographs, direct from the track.

That's all for now, thanks for reading,

Adam

BBC: Nico Rosberg & Fernando Alonso set fast times on final day of testing

Mercedes driver Nico Rosberg set the fastest time of the winter on the last day of the final pre-season test.
The German followed up team-mate Lewis Hamilton's impressive performance on Saturday by lopping more than 0.4 seconds off the Englishman's time.
Ferrari's Fernando Alonso also beat Hamilton's mark in setting the second fastest time of the winter, 0.364 secs behind Rosberg.
McLaren's Jenson Button was third ahead of Sauber's Nico Hulkenberg.

BBC: McLaren poised to switch to Honda engines for 2015 season

McLaren are to use Honda engines as the Japanese company returns to Formula 1 for the first time since 2008.
Honda pulled out of F1 after years of poor results with its own team, which subsequently won the championship as Brawn in 2009 and is now Mercedes.
But the engine manufacturer has decided to return because of next year's introduction of turbo engines featuring energy recovery technology.

McLaren/Honda........ :-o .........just does not sound right.

Australian GP qualifying delayed by heavy rain.

BBC: Qualifying at the season-opening Australian Grand Prix has been delayed until Sunday morning in Melbourne following heavy rain.

Link: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/formula1/21811890

Link http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/formula1/21811297

Only the first knock-out part of qualifying was run at Albert Park
Mercedes driver Nico Rosberg set the pace in the first session from Ferrari's Fernando Alonso and Lotus's Romain Grosjean.
Williams driver Pastor Maldonado and Sauber's rookie Esteban Gutierrez were the two drivers to be knocked out in the first part of qualifying along with the Marussias and Caterhams.

Both Marussias out-qualified both Caterhams and Frenchman Jules Bianchi continued the good impression he has made since being taken on by Caterham at the final pre-season test.

Lewis Hamilton had a narrow escape when he spun at Turn Two and his Mercedes initially appeared to be beached on the edge of the track - the rear wheels spinning uselessly as he tried to rejoin.
But Hamilton was able to reverse back onto the circuit and he ended up 10th fastest despite a damaged rear-wing endplate.

McLaren's Sergio Perez was fourth fastest, ahead of Red Bull's Mark Webber, Ferrari's Felipe Massa, Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel and McLaren's Jenson Button.

Qualifying top ten (session 1)

1. Nico Rosberg - Mercedes - 1:43.380

2. Fernando Alonso - Ferrari - 1:43.850

3. Romain Grosjean - Lotus - 1:44.284

4. Sergio Perez - McLaren - 1:44.300

5. Mark Webber - Red Bull - 1:44.472

6. Felipe Massa - Ferrari - 1:44.635

7. Sebastian Vettel - Red Bull - 1:44.657

8. Jenson Button - McLaren - 1:44.688

9. Jean-Eric Vergne - Toro Rosso - 1:44.871

10. Lewis Hamilton - Mercedes - 1:45.456

Driver profile: Giedo van der Garde

Giedo van der Garde forms one half of the second least experienced driver line-up on the grid - only Marussia's pairing have less experience than Caterham's.
The Dutchman owes his place in the team to the hefty sponsorship package he brings with him.
He has been on the fringes of F1 for some time - he was test and reserve driver for Super Aguri as long ago as 2007 and was the subject of a contract dispute between them and the Spyker (now Force India) team.

Van der Garde's stats and facts

Team: Caterham
Team-mate: Charles Pic
Born: 25/04/85, Rhenen
Nationality: Dutch

He has spent the past four years in GP2, winning a total of five races, and keen motorsport fans can find footage on YouTube of a titantic battle between Lewis Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel over second place in a German Formula Three race - behind the leading Van Der Garde.
He will not be keeping such rarefied company with Caterham this year but neither is he likely to disgrace himself.

Forgot to mention, I met this lad a couple of years ago at the Zandvoort track. Nice bloke.... :-bd
