Maria De Villota has been seriouly injured during testing for the Marussia team at Duxford this morning.
Let's all hope she makes a full recovery.

Oh dear that does not sound good after reading that, I hope she recovers and lives to tell the tale.

BBC Cambridgeshire presenter Chris Mann, who witnessed the crash, said the car was slowing down when it "suddenly accelerated" into the back of the lorry.... :-\

Apparently I've just heard she has massive facial injuries and has lost one eye. Such a shame as she was very pretty.

Just read that she went through 15 hours of surgery. Indeed a very sad accident :(

Maria de Villota has been released from hospital after it was established she had suffered no neurological damage from her testing crash. A statement on De Villota's website said she had suffered "no neurological deficit and does not need any surgery".
