Really????? Has Jimmy Krankie gone completely mad?
As of June, cars with below certain emission standards are no longer allowed in the city centre. The area is a square mile or so in the shopping and business districts. £60 fine for gas guzzlers like ours.

A little poetic licence as the fines won't be dished out during a year's grace period. Just a letter in the post from Jimmy Krankie telling you off for being a naughty boy.

Followed by a video scowl from Greta Nofunburg...

Can't say I find myself in Glasgow City centre too often to mind that much.

'Park and ride' is fine for me on the occasional car trip. In Glasgow Mon-Fri for work but always use the train.

To be fair, it has been a while since I was there (or Edinburgh) and usually thats a train journey too - however I am sure those arent the only cities to be engaging in this madness, I know Manchester is embrolled in the same mad plans in one sense or another.

Good spot.

Cars registered before 2001 don't have their emissions noted, so it will be interesting to see how many cars like this dodge the tax.

I applied for a Cert d'Air for France and was surprised to be given a 3.

3 is for Euro 4 cars.
