The electric seat on the passenger side of my Z3M raises and lowers. Is it possible that there is a fewers but does not advance or back up. No clicking , no noise of any sort. Is there a fuse for this action (only)?

The up/down and forward/back motors are feed from the same fuses.
Have a look at the top of the forum page. In the blue under the logo is a line of tabs.
- Resources. In here you will find the wiring diagrams for your car. You will need to know the build date to get the correct ones.

I found the page where there is a diagram on the seat configuration with an explination on the unassembly of the seat.

Have you tried the gentle tapping of the motor while operating the switch. If the seat has been left in one of the extreme positions it could just be jammed.
