Nice ride out to shops, which were closed ( I knew ..shhh) so pub on way back. After having @colb visit last week to replace the knackered AC clutch pully it was nice to not hear the whinny/tapping noise that appeared a few weeks ago. BMW indy and AC specialist quoted between £500 to £800 to fix. We sorted with a £40 clutch pully from Autodoc and a fabricated £20 tool to remove. Was an interesting job but didn't need new compressor etc as I noticed on an old BMW receipt it mentioned 'noisy AC clutch pully'. So we guessed that was the issue. BMW indy didnt know the pully could be changed without replacing compressor...go figure. Thanks @colb once again!

I can't use that excuse any more. Once popped out to Morrison's, 5 miles towards Huddersfield. Came back 3 hours later. Where have you been. Derbyshire. That's in the opposite direction. Well . . . A bit . . .

Worth it though . . .
