Hi my 1998 2.8 has developed a fault with the drivers door central locking occasionally the door can't be opened from the outside the central locking appears to open the button on the door goes up but if you try and open the door from the ouside it won't open but will open from the inside ? Any ideas or help appreciated

First thing I would do is take the door card off and give everything a good lube, these cars are around 20 years old and have probably never seen any spry grease at all

Thanks I will do that just bought a new house with a garage so it will be getting a lot of pampering soon

Whilst your in there do all the window mech, it always gives me a good feeling to get everything running as it should
