Couple of questions related to doing paint correction over the winter on my 1998 M Imola Red



I know there's really no way of determining the thickness of ClearCoat….

So I'm trying to determine best ways to measure how much I take off after buffing/polishing.

I'd like to buy a paint gauge off Amazon… Any recommendations?

Also any thoughts on what the original thickness of the paint/clearcoat should be?



Any Thoughts/suggested would be appreciated…
