Has anyone changed an injector on a filthy ..... /spit/.... evil....../spit/..... satanic...../spit/.....diesel engine? The missus' PITA Scenic 2 is flashing an error over the injector, I suspect it's just sensor, but it's really getting on my nerves now.

I just need it to shut up long enough to sell the hell-mobile. If anyone has personal experience with the diabolic people mover that would be awesome (it's already swallowed more money in 3 months than my Z has in almost 6 years...)

Any demolition services who have run out of caravans to blow up :whistle::whistle:

Missus loves the car, but I might have convinced her to give it up for a 10 year old 5 series Estate, I'm hoping I have anyway.

I changed a set on a Pug 405 years ago, luckily for me my Dad was a heavy plant fitter so could do it with his eyes closed and he had the kit, beware modern pressed in and clamped ones can be seized in place and sometimes get wrecked getting them out, also I understand that some of the newer engines need an injector puller to free them. I would get some advice from a pro before attacking it. (and that aint me:whistle:)

Yep just changed one on the bosses Kia Sorento. As long as it comes out it's a 10 minute job.
Remove the engine cover if it has one.
Take the bolt out holding in the common rail.
Remove the bolt holding the injector in.
Prize the injector out gently.
Reverse procedure to put back together.
They can be a nightmare to get out. If it doesn't come with a small amount of force I suggest getting someone in to do it. They can snap in the head then your stuffed! If it comes straight out it really is easy and I'm no techi! Just ask Tony!
