What year is your car Kit?? They're different from 96-98 and 99-2002. I have a list of all the parts needed for the earlier models just need to find it. Also has all part #'s. I'll try to track it down but I'm sure someone will post the link on the BMW site as I'm known for my organized disorganization meaning if the wife got it I'll have no idea where to start looking.

Yes , you got the easy one Kit! Only need a few parts and you're cruising. Mine's a 97 and needs about a dozen pieces. Almost have them all so hopefully will get installed this summer. Then I've got to do it all again for the 98. JIM

@GazHyde Hi Gary yep won the switch yes seemed a bargain.
Sopers have the interface for £54.45 so may get that unless anyone has one, was wondering if I need screws or bolts etc?

Hi @Kit as yours has no throttle cable and is 'fly by wire' easy to do all you need is the interface unit and the how to guide is below. I got my interface unit from Sopers a while back but I think they are still available,

Part number. 65718380054

Well got the interface from Sopers £54 and switch from eBay £20 so will fit that tonight is there a test befor paneling up or is it a case of just hitting the road.

When I did mine I just put it all back together and went for a test drive. Worked fine, it really is plug and play. The hardest part was getting the trim off. Best of luck:thumbsup:

No, no lights anywhere, you'll know it's working though.

As mint says no lights.
Forward/Back to set
Forward to increase speed
Back to decrease speed
Up/Down to cancel
Press in to resume speed after braking
If yours is a manual it will drop out when you press the clutch

With mine as auto get to 20 mph and press reset on goes back to previous speed. Great fun when it was set at 75 before, does try quite hard.

Just a question, on the manual do you not need a clutch switch put in to disconnect or is that just on the eArlier drive by cable? Also the cable connection on the TB? Mine are 97 and 98 and I've been accumulating parts and just about have one complete system and a few parts for the second. Any further info greatly appreciated as I really need CC as I've got a bad right knee. Thanks, JIM
