Cooler bags.

Someone was asking about cooler bags etc. to keep in your boot for days out. I have a small unit which keeps things cool and hot food warm too. You can hear it or cool it on mains before taking to the car and plugging to 12 V supply.
Very light weight and compact.

I had a flask like that . It would keep food hot, and drinks cold. I don't know how it knew the difference.

True but this is simple it has a switch,
Hot - Off - Cold.
