What are your personal opinions on this?
Window tinting on the front, even though it's illegal

I understand it helps with heat in this persons environment but there are other ways to tackle that.

I think it's dangerous and just a matter of time before someone is hurt

Not for me. Not sure how it helps with heat as a dark surface will absorb more energy than a light one:confused:

It allows heat to escape a little easier.
Apparently the police there don't care. Pfft.
Driving at night there's no chance of seeing someone walking along the side in dark clothing, it's tough enough to see people under normal circumstances

Completely illegal in the UK, whether there are enough police on the road to actually stop you is another thing.

if you tint the side windows it will make the windscreen look darker anyway on such a small car

Police apart it's an M.O.T. fail anyway.

I like a good clean clear screen :)
So I can see where I'm going :)

Cool but useless!
If you use it in your private ranch, during daytime is perfect.
Regarding the protection against sun, it's very efficient, because is blocking the sun rays to get inside and the green house effect is very low. I know from experience: before being illegal, 25 years ago, I drove a Dacia with all glasses 80% dark; perfect on daylight, totally blind on night time...Nowadays illegal and I agree entirely.

i have never really understood the legal point on this, i had a jap import car that was fitted with a factory supplied gold tint windscreen and always went through an mot, infact it was never mentioned.
personally i prefer to see where im going, and when the gold screen got a stone chip it was replaced with a normal one, not because it was tinted but simply out of cost - gold tint oem was over £1000 where as normal screen was £60 on the insurance, no contest really.

Likely to get you shot by the police in many countries - if they can't see you they'll shoot first and ask questions later!
Not sure the police here would stop you for it, but of you're stopped, they'll tear it off before you can go or give you a ticket.

I don't like any windows tinted, they are for seeing through.

Tinted rear window yes, side windows (up to the MOT acceptable limit, ok) any darker and it renders your door mirrors next to useless.

I've always had my rear windows tinted on cars either factory glass or aftermarket film.
But sides and front look a bit silly to me, it would be like wearing sunglasses in a nightclub. Pointless and you look a bit silly (not cool like the OG's in music videos would have you believe)
