guys i bought a lotus elite because i loved lotus of the 70s and 80s.i just had to get a lotus no matter what .money was tight then.i got a mk1 elite and it never turned a wheel.the enjoyment of owning this rare car was enough.mercs and all sorts could be parked beside it and people would want to talk about this ancient lotus with the pop up headlight s. modern super car s have become arogant,back in the 80s they where new and exiting ,any thoughts

My father in law owns a 1972 and a 1973 lotus elan drive them both on a frequent basis always amaze me how they struggle to keep up with a modern fiesta
