Code Reader recommendations

Hi everyone.

As in a previous thread, I’m having a couple of issues identifying a 5E30 fault code on my 2002 Z3. My current C310+ won’t allow me to interrogate any further to identify which sensor etc.

I’m considering another Reader, possibly the Foxwell NT510 but need to know if this, or another, will allow me to delve further to identify the issue?


So, any recommendations, based on experience?

Please don’t suggest possible faults and solutions; I have loads already!

I dont know if any scanner can do this, but your error indicates the sensor located under the carpet bolted to the floor under the passengers feet.
so I would start by checking there for water or a bad connection.
