is there anyway to adjust the height of the clutch peddle as its slightly higher than the other 2 peddles?
just to add there's nothing wrong with the biting point its just the height...ta :ymblushing:

Hi
This was a problem i had when i got the car going from a 1.9 to an ///M
The dealer said the pedal was higher due to the weight of the clutch,
more pressure needed on pedal, i didnt know if this was a load of ball
They changed the clutch pedal complete, they said that Bmw was aware
and had made an alternative uprated pedal.
This did help alot, like you, i felt the pedal should roughly level with brake
I also complained there was no room to rest your foot,
they commented its a drivers car you dont rest your foot?
I have since been informed its the width of the ///M gearbox,
due to lack of foot resting space, i'm ok with it now

we may have found a solution to this little problem ....rather than lower the clutch...im going to raise the brake instead ;)
we'll see.........its not urgent...may just be a case of getting used to it....but i do find it odd

doing the accelerator as well....sorry forgot to add that bit.
if you remove the rubber cover from the clutch pedal and fit a metal cover.... then fit the metal covers to the other 2 pedal but leave the rubber covers on them it will lower the height of the clutch pedal in relation to the other 2 pedals....(or raise the height of the of the brake and accelerator) depending on how you want to look at it.
all in all they should line up better ;)
