I read today (on another site :-o ) about using cling film on your car windows so you don't have to scrape in the mornings.

Anybody tried it ??

I've put some on my rear window (not Zippy) coz scraping my car windows at 6 a.m. is not my favourite thing to do (-|

At college , many moons ago, we used to put cling film over the toilets in the girls facility...

Here is how it works, cling film, seat down, lid down, = bloody good laugh.... :ymdevil:

The lift out roof panels on my Vette had leaky rubber seals so I used clingfilm to cover the joins when it was parked.

A woman I worked with told me about the time her and her husband returned home early to find the 16 year old babysitter and her boyfriend in their bed.
The lad leapt out, grabbed his clothes and run off and the rather embarassed girl was given time to cover her modesty before being taken home.
The wife could not get the vision of this lad jumping out of bed as 'things' didn't quite look right. When they got home they found an empty cling film tube and realised he'd made a makeshift condom wrapping it round his appendage with a couple of runs round the waist for extra security. :p

I've been expecting to see him on Dragons Den :D

Anyway, i'm sure clingfilm will work on windscreens but there's something else that may work even better and that's pallet wrap. Same sort of thing but much stickier and heavier duty.

No I only put it on the back window as a trial so I just had 2 lengths of very wet cling film.

Maybe someone from darn sarf could try this out coz we've got mild weather predicted up 'ere.??

Yes I am.
It was either the cling film or condoms
