Thats a real honour! He'll be a talented lad. You are right to be very proud.

My children's school played in the Daily Mail cup final the other year (We came second!). There were several matches played apart from the final.

In each game you could tell the difference between the Internationals and the others. You didn't need the programme to tell you. They were head and shoulders! Much more time.

What age group is he in?... Difficult to tell from size nowadays.... They're all huge!

:)

Frankie, in the good old upper crust days of England, aka the "British Empire" players of international football games used to be given an actual head cap to celebrate the event, to day it is a medal and a trophy, but it still gets called being capped.

Unlike the Italian / Bronx version of being capped you may be familiar with........

Actually they still get a cap. My friends son plays rugby for England. He's in the under 18s.

Sat in a dark car awaiting Brittany Ferries to board me. No glasses to hand. Neither drinking nor spectacles!

How is the crossing, we were delayed three hours yesterday at Calais due to immigrants, two tried to gain access to the van, and damaged it when they found it locked, scarred the kids, and the French Police just shrugged, nothing they can do!
