That looks like a no then. I will have a look round away to see if any Z3 are attending ;)
Doesn't seem any Zed events this year in the South East my nearest event is Santa Pod which is still 90 miles one way which is fine. Everything else is 200 plus way to much for a day out they can get up to 400 miles or more with the journey there and back and a drive.
Enjoy your cars.

We are lucky living in the Midlands as we have things on our doorstep and only 2 hrs from either the eastern coast or Wales also only a couple of hours from the North Yorkshire dales. Lots can happen over the year around the Midlands and it's also not far for most to reach.

Can sympathise with you i have a similar issue.
We are going to lakes cruise 340 mile round trip plus whatever on the day
Following weekend zedfest 700 mile round trip
Following weekend after zedfest it's the Scottish run ( at least im organising that so no travel ) but the 2 days are about 160 mile a day .
So big milage in August and 4 nights in hotels .
If there's not much happening over your way why don't you organise your own cruise :)

Hi Steve thank you . I did ask a while back for a meet up maybe cafe and a drive not one response affraid.
Obviously no interest in the south east or not many owners in Hertfordshire.
Still hope you enjoy your trips and events but for my old car especially a 1.9 it's hard going with hundreds of miles in one day very tireing .
I do have a busy time coming up over the next few weeks non Zed. Holidays and things at the weekends.
Will keep an eye out on this event and get a pic if a Z is there.

Tracy the humble 1.9 is more than capable my zed has the m43 1.9 (118bhp) and it still manages .
I can understand that travelling hundreds of miles in a day can really take it out you if you are not used to it.
Maybe try again to arrange something put it in forthcoming events tag some of your local zedders in the thread to generate some local interest

Thanks Steve food for thought maybe later on in the year.
Just used to faster more long distance conveyances that eat up the miles better.
100 miles one way really does suit me in the Zed.
Enjoy your travels.

I feel for you, I'm down in darkest Devon. The problem I've always had is I work 4 on 4 off rolling shifts in the leisure industry and we're not allowed to take holiday in June, July and August so if anything falls on a weekend I'm working I'm stuffed. Never mind the roads are crammed with bloody tourist then anyway.

Just as well Martin it was on the 21st of May. :p:D we attended it was a good busy day lots of cars weather pretty good. Might be a good event in the future for any Zedders at a loose end.
Journey was 46 miles each way circa an hour perfect.
Sorry no photos as no Zeds in attendance every other classic under the sun.

Sounds a good day Tracy, maybe we could work together to get some local cruises. There are a lot of events in our area during the summer in some really nice locations. A lot have car clubs attending, there's A pub in Bennington the cricketers, the Sun at halls green, the fox at Willian + village shows.even the ace cafe . All the best

Good plan Martin iam sure there is enough cars in our surrounding areas for future events and runs out .
The thing I sent you iam not around on the 1st July but iam sure it can be held anytime.
But for later this year and next year assuming we still have Zeds iam sure we can put something together if we combine our thoughts.
A long time factor for events gives people time to plan.
