We had a 3 year old Cayenne in at work for a service today and I was gob smacked by the size of the space saver against the wheels on the car.

Max. speed 50 mph or 80 kph but I wouldn't fancy either to be honest.

A wierd ride I'll bet.

Tony.

Yep, that's how it's supplied. Before you can fit it you have to inflate it. A big reason we usually get cars recovered on a beaver tail or similar. People just can't be arsed with the messing around.

Tony.

ps. Oh, and if it was inflated it would not fit in the place it lives:(

Very odd collapsible tyres. They are supposed to collapse back when deflated after use but what a pallaver . Stupid huge wheels.

What a arse, having to inflate a tyre that you need to put on quickly, and most likely on the side of the motorway.

Lucky it even has a space saver. All other new Porsche sports cars just have that tire weld gel.

I like the look of that space saver!
Looks like those winter rally wheels with ice spikes.

Is it alloy and not steel so doesn’t rust to bits like a BMW one?
